______________
Appearance:
Default form:
Indigo is a Wendigo that is a bit odd. Where most in Hell have a combination of resembling a humanoid animal with a skull or antlers of some kind, they are one of those with a quite different appearance. Their default form resembles more of a human woman with cold, gray skin as if in a state of preservation with sharp black nails on their hands and feet. They are slender in build with a slightly sunken face and almost looking sickly and golden, glowing eyes lacking pupils, darker gray lips, and grayish-green hair. They stand at 5’ 9” with attire akin to a Shaman and a distinguishing deer skull mask that they rarely remove.
Their demon form however is a stark contrast. They become more muscular and covered in indigo colored thick fur meant for winter, almost having the build of a typical depiction of a human werewolf. Though lean, this form is far larger in mass and stands at 9’ even, with digigrade legs and three-toed feet with six inch long claws. Their hands remain but the black claws sharpen to six inches as well while the skull becomes a permanent fixture to their head, acting as their face. Their horns extend to become longer and more elaborate with their hair and furred collar of their shoulder cover fusing to become a thicker mane around the neck. Their eyes also become more cat-like and remain a golden color. This is also their preferred form.
What is also unique about Indigo is that they have a dual echoing voice, one feminine and one masculine, a result of a male spirit fusing with a female human who has since lost their separate identities. The feminine tone is more prominent in their default form and the masculine voice more prominent in their demon form, but an echo always remains.
Powers:
*Heightened Senses: Given the nature of their demon type, Indigo has to be able to track and hunt their prey. Due to this, they have senses on par with that of a mortal wolf, being able to track and find a scent several days old and distinguish it from among others. Their hearing is just as sharp, allowing them to pinpoint certain sounds and tune out others, and their sight is just as keen in the dark as it is in the daytime. Their taste is perhaps the most strong and most sensitive, allowing them to distinguish certain tastes and “taste” a scent for tracking
*Thermokinesis: Indigo also has the ability to alter and change the temperature within a certain range. That is, they can transfer heat energy, either absorbing it or transferring it elsewhere at will to a point of causing ice to form or flames to ignite. This allows them limited control of said elements within a fifteen-foot radius of themselves, allowing them to use these elements how they see fit.
*Regenerative Healing: Indigo also has the ability to heal exceptionally fast compared to most other demons. This includes near-fatal wounds that can take little over a couple of days rather than a few weeks, and minor wounds heal within seconds. Although, this ability can be affected by the state of their sanity in terms of their hunger, as this is known to heavily affect some of their physical capabilities.

Personality: Indigo has a rather straightforward personality. They are the type to prefer solitude and keeping to themselves, living a rather loner, introverted life unless necessary. Given their nature as a Wendigo, it is hard to maintain a real relationship, especially given that Indigo finds remaining in their full demon for staves off their constant hunger but also leaves them more susceptible to hunger filled rage. So, they are quite skeptical of getting close to another, not being the type to be naturally sadistic or antagonistic but rather tend to be the opposite. They are usually quite calm, easy-going, and exceptionally clever in their own ways, but when the hunger strikes they become something more akin to an animal.
For this reason, Indigo generally keeps away from the populace except the twisted world of Cannibal City. There is very few things in Hell that allow them to come out of their shell, such as cooking.
History:
Indigo is one of the older Sinners in Hell, having arrived sometime in the 17th century.
They were once a very different person before their eventual death. Their default form was once a young Native American woman of the Chippewa tribe, being part of a smaller band with no true name that had broken off from the main nation to settle in the Canadian Rockies. And there, they were born and grew with a relatively normal life in their tribe. Never had they had a wicked thought or attempted to do anything worth being in Hell, living a fruitful mortal life with friends, loved ones, and a fiancée they were thrilled to start a life with. Though it was arranged, the then young woman couldn’t be happier with their life. Everything seemed in harmony, perfect, serene...
But, happiness is fleeting. One winter short of turning 25, Indigo and her village were struck by a particularly hard fall and winter season. With such a swift growth of their people and not enough food to grow by fall, a famine gradually fell over their small village. Food became hard to come by, whether hunting or gathering, and they had no crops suitable for such cold conditions. By the middle of winter, half the village was sick and/or starving and Indigo themself was struggling to fend off a fever they had come down with. A spiritual woman back then, she prayed silently to the spirits for guidance and strength, wishing to do whatever it would take to help her people. But, her prayers at the time came in the answer of a dark entity disguised as a good spirit.
Questioning the young woman if she wished to be strong again and help her people, Indigo desperately nodded, begging for some form of relief for herself and the village. With a wicked grin, the spirit made a deal with her, a being she knew not was evil until nor from Hell until they merged consciousness. After that, Indigo blacked out for a solid three days, never knowing what happened until coming out of her trance. When she took control of her body, she was horrified to find herself covered in blood, especially around her mouth and was even more horrified and disgusted at the horrific sight when she stumbled from her home. The sight would have been enough to make the most weak of stomach lose everything, and Indigo herself threw up the partially digested flesh of what had once been some of the villagers.
Appalled and furious, the woman tried to expel the demon to no avail. They were now one and the same, a life-long deal that still plagued them today. From then on, the young woman soon could not distinguish herself from the demonic spirit and vice versa; they shared a body and slowly melded to such a level they could not see themselves as separate from the other, even to the point their entire identities changed. Years went by, they became a true animal of legend, plaguing the Canadian woods until they were forced to return to Hell by a reaper. Since then, Indigo has tried to make a life for themselves, living in Cannibal City for a time until they heard about the “Happy Hotel” on the recent news and has curiously sought to see this unique hotel.
Who knows, maybe they will find a way to be happy again, having recently become the head chef of the establishment.

It was as quiet as it could be on a night in Cannibal City. Despite its horrid reputation, there were times one didn’t hear horrific, blood-curdling screams of the unfortunate to wander where they shouldn’t. It was almost strangely peaceful, like another day in Pentagram City.
However, one resident wasn’t taking such quietness so easily. It made them on edge, frustrated, finding nothing of what they were looking for. An unsettling snarl erupted from their broad, thick-furred chest as they stalked the dark alleys. Their eyes flashed in the darkness, sniffing about for any scent at this point. So far, all had lead to a dead end or gone stale, causing the website to dig their claws into the concrete, leaving visible gouge marks behind before moving on. They moved with purpose but quietly, barely making a sound as they moved among the alleys, occasionally pausing to listen.
How could a town like this be so quiet? It was...uncomfortable when nights like this occurred.
And the thing Indigo wanted they weren’t getting. Their stomach growled audibly, indicating the purpose of their frustration and silent agony. They needed to feed, to satiate the constant hunger. If they didn’t...Indigo tried not to think about it, shaking their head to push those primal thoughts away. ‘Can’t let them surface.’ The more feminine side told themself while the masculine side snorted inwardly, obviously annoyed at the constant back and forth. But, there was no denying it: one demon would not be so lucky tonight.
As if on cue, the sound of two hushed but harsh voices made them freeze in their tracks. Finally! Indigo slowed their pace, sticking to the shadows as the voices got closer and stronger until they were practically on top of two male demons, each harshly arguing over something frivolous to the wedigo. They were right on top of them now, mouth salivating as the scent of the two demons were too much to resist. Spurred on by their desire, a ferocious, inhuman roar broke the silence followed by screeches of the two unfortunate demons before everything went eerily silent.
